Celebrate Asian culture in Idaho this Saturday, October 15 at the Boise State University Student Union Building. The educational event will feature a wide variety of community leaders and focuses on how the Asian community (particularly refugees and immigrants) can thrive in Boise, and will feature a roundtable discussion with the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Regional Network. The event is free and open to the public.
Sponsored by Boise State University and Tidwell Social Work & Consulting Services, Inc, the event is the third year celebration of the Community Unbound Project which aims to promote cross-cultural education and community building. Previously, the group has sponsored the African Heritage Conference in 2014 and Arab World in Idaho in 2015.
