Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and support Artisans for Hope this coming Sunday, October 25!

Artisans for Hope aims to help refugees develop the skill base, language acquisition, and confidence to successfully integrate into the Boise community. They do so by utilizing the handcraft skills that many refugees already possess, providing these refugees with further textile and business training at their downtown community center. Many of the products that the artisans create are sold at their studio during open hours (M-F 9:30-12:00 pm), at various retail locations, and at special events throughout the year.

This coming Sunday, October 25, from noon to five, American Clothing Gallery (on the corner of 8th and Main) will open their doors to host the Artisans for Hope Holiday Shopping Event. You can stop in for a bit to meet many of the artisans and to shop for locally made, one-of-a-kind gifts, including purses, totes, skirts, alpaca hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, and more. And, the best part: 75% of the sales price goes to the artisan. We hope you can make it!
